Yasmine Kabbaj

VP Human Resources

Hi, my name is Yasmine and I’m a U2 student, double majoring in Finance and Accounting. After 2 years of solely finance and accounting classes, I felt I was spending more time with my computer than with real people. This is why I opted for the VP Human Resources position at MES. So if you are wondering when and how you can join MES, or if you are already a member and simply need to talk to someone, I am the person to contact.

Emir Aydin

Co-VP Information Technologies

Merhaba! This is Emir Aydin from Turkey. I am a sophomore majoring in Honours Computer Science and minoring in Technological Entrepreneurship. I have been in the world of programming since elementary school, and I have created some award-winning projects. I also have my own projects that I’m still working on. My vision is to change the way people live, make it simpler. I always knew that I loved creating new things, and now that I’m aware of my fighter and rebel personality, I’m glad to be part of the MES. I think entrepreneurship is an ocean that has no shore; there is always something to learn. If you have an idea and a vision to share, I’m here! You can contact me through my website www.emiraydin.com or my email: emir@mcgillentrepreneurs.com.

Sepand Norouzi

Co-VP Information Technologies

U3 Software Engineering Major, Minor in Technological Entrepreneurship. Having been passionate about technology from a very young age, it was not until I entered university that I was able to also hone my passion for entrepreneurship and combine the two. As a member of the McGill Entrepreneurs’ Society, I am able to share my passion with other aspiring entrepreneurs as well as with the student body. I’m always interested in hearing about new project proposals so don’t hesitate to email me at sepand@mcgillentrepreneurs.com!

Nawal Ghali

VP Corporate Relations

Nawal Ghali, U2 Majoring in International Management, Minor in Political Science and Concentration in Finance. In terms of work experience, I worked for a Communication Company, Sun International, and would like to work in the Department of Public Relations of an international company. I believe that being a member of McGill Entrepreneurs Society allowed me to meet an extraordinary and dynamic team  with which we organized all sorts of networking events that led to great opportunities! If you have any question, please feel free to come talk to us!

Tahsin Kadry

VP Communications and Oohlala Mobile VP Communications

My name is Tahsin Kadry, and I’m in U1 (Major Finance, Concentration International Business). My hometown is Amman, Jordan, and my position is MES VP Communications and Oohlala Mobile VP Communications. These roles entail keeping members informed and up-to-date on our creative projects and initiatives, and serving as a link for the executive team. I’m excited to work with other executives to help maintain the club’s success, and to increase the presence of entrepreneurship amongst McGill students.

Bianca Ponziani

Manager of Micro Businesses

My name is Bianca Ponziani and I’m MES’ Manager of Micro Businesses! While I’ve lived/traveled in Asia, I’m originally from Toronto, and am in my second year of a joint honours Environment and Political Science degree.
I oversee MES-supported projects, as well as help coordinate events for our members, like Start-Up Boot Camp. Feel free to send me an e-mail at bianca@mcgillentrepreneurs.com, to practice your (my) Italian or Mandarin, and to get your project ideas, big or small, rolling!

Christian Turlica

VP External

My name’s Christian Turlica and I’m doing a Double Major in Finance and Psychology for Management. Entrepreneurship was a passion for me even before high school, with several small companies started along the way. I think that the new wave of job creation will come from start-ups and innovation. We are becoming better daily at making the things that already exist, but it’s imagining and making the things that no one thought of that will spawn the new industries and sectors of the future. Please come talk to us if you have an idea you need help with or even if you want to be in an environment that will foster your entrepreneurial and life skills.

Abraham Younjei Chung

VP Finance

U1, Joint Honours in Economics and Finance, Minor in Mathematics. High interest in connecting with entrepreneurial minds in the McGill community, and always willing to help out whenever there is a novel idea of interest. Have taken part in entrepreneurial challenges/competitions in Canada, and is glad to share his ideas about event organization and other know-how’s for McGill students with MES. Thrilled to be able to work with MES this year!
